WHO WE ARE

WYFH is more than just a sports program—we're a community dedicated to helping young athletes learn, grow, and thrive. Through the leadership of our volunteer coaches and board members, we teach fundamental field hockey skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, leadership, and respect.

WYFH offers a fall recreational league that competes in the Baystate Youth Field Hockey League, along with year-round clinics to support continued player development. Whether a player is new to the sport or preparing for high school field hockey, our goal is to provide a fun, positive, and supportive environment where every athlete can build skills, confidence, and lasting friendships.

OUR MISSION

The Waltham Youth Field Hockey Program is committed to creating an empowering environment where young athletes can thrive in all aspects of their lives. With the emphasis on skill development and good sportsmanship our mission is to foster teamwork and personal growth while inspiring a love for the game.  We strive to shape confident, well-rounded athletes who excel in their sport and carry the values of dedication and teamwork both on and off the field.
